Our Philosophy

Dublin Poker Club & Casino is more than a gaming venue — we’re a part of the Fairview and Dublin 3 community. We believe in giving back, supporting local causes, and using our platform to make a positive difference.

Charity Poker Tournaments

We regularly host charity poker tournaments where a portion or all of the entry fees are donated to selected charitable causes. These events bring our members together for a great night of poker while raising funds for those who need it most.

Past and planned charity partnerships include:

• Dublin Simon Community — Supporting people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Dublin
• St. Vincent de Paul (Fairview/Marino Conference) — Local assistance for families in need in our neighbourhood
• Temple Street Children’s Hospital Foundation — Supporting the care of sick children in Ireland
• Pieta House — Suicide prevention and self-harm support

Responsible Gambling Partnerships

We actively support and collaborate with organisations working to prevent and address problem gambling in Ireland:

• Gambling Awareness Trust — We display their materials at the Club, provide their helpline number (1800 753 753) to members, and contribute to awareness campaigns
• Problem Gambling Ireland — We share their educational resources through our App and in-venue displays
• Gamblers Anonymous Ireland — We provide information about local Dublin meetings to any member who requests it

A portion of our annual community giving is directed toward responsible gambling initiatives.

Local Community

We’re proud to be located in Fairview, and we support our local community in practical ways:

• Local employment — Our staff are primarily recruited from the Dublin area
• Supplier partnerships — We work with local suppliers for food, beverages, and services wherever possible
• Community events — We open our function space for local community events and meetings, and sponsor local sports and cultural activities
