1. Introduction
Welcome to Dublin Poker Club & Casino (“the Club,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dublin Poker Club & Casino mobile application (“the App”) and your membership at our premises located at 3 Fairview Strand, Fairview, Dublin 3, D03 AY94, Ireland.
Dublin Poker Club & Casino operates as a licensed private members club under Irish gaming and licensing legislation. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, and by applying for or maintaining membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, you must not use the App or our services.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age to become a member, use the App, or enter the Club premises. We strictly enforce this requirement and will request proof of age at any time.
2.2 Identity Verification
All members must provide valid government-issued photographic identification (passport, national identity card, or Irish driving licence) prior to membership activation. This is a legal requirement under Irish anti-money laundering (“AML”) legislation. Additional verification documents, including proof of address and a selfie for biometric matching, may be required.
2.3 Residency
Membership is open to individuals resident in or visiting Ireland. You do not need to be an Irish citizen or permanent resident; however, you must be physically present at our premises to participate in gaming activities.
2.4 Prohibited Persons
We reserve the right to refuse or revoke membership to any individual who:
- Is under 18 years of age
- Has been excluded from the Club (whether voluntarily or by management)
- Is subject to a court order restricting their gambling activity
- Has provided false or misleading identification
- Is listed on any applicable sanctions or exclusion register
- Has engaged in disruptive, threatening, or illegal behaviour
3. Membership
3.1 Free Membership
Membership at Dublin Poker Club & Casino is free of charge. There are no annual fees, joining fees, or subscription charges associated with basic membership.
3.2 Application Process
To become a member, you must:
- Download the App or visit the Club in person
- Complete the registration form with accurate personal details
- Provide valid photographic ID and any additional verification documents
- Agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy
- Await verification and approval (typically within 24 hours)
3.3 Membership Card & App Account
Upon approval, you will receive a digital membership card accessible through the App. This card must be presented (digitally or physically) upon each visit. Your App account is personal to you and must not be shared with, transferred to, or used by any other person.
3.4 Membership Duration
Membership remains active indefinitely unless terminated by you or by us in accordance with these Terms. We may require periodic re-verification of your identity and details.
4. The App
4.1 Purpose
The App serves as a digital companion for your membership experience. Through the App, you may:
- Manage your membership profile
- View tournament schedules and register for events
- Access your digital wallet for cashier transactions
- View promotional offers and Club news
- Access responsible gaming tools and settings
- Contact support
4.2 No Remote Gambling
The App does not provide online or remote gambling services. All gaming activities take place exclusively at our physical premises. The App is a management and information tool only.
4.3 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must:
- Choose a strong, unique password
- Not share your credentials with anyone
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access
- Log out of the App on shared devices
We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account where you have failed to safeguard your credentials.
4.4 App Availability
We aim to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend access for maintenance, updates, or security reasons without prior notice.
5. Digital Wallet
5.1 Overview
The App includes a digital wallet feature that allows you to manage funds for use at the Club. The digital wallet is not a bank account, e-money account, or payment service. It is a record of funds held by the Club on your behalf for gaming purposes.
5.2 Deposits
You may add funds to your digital wallet by:
- Credit or debit card via our secure payment processor (Stripe)
- Cash at the Club cashier during operating hours
All deposits are subject to our Deposit & Withdrawal Policy and applicable AML checks.
5.3 Withdrawals
You may withdraw funds from your digital wallet by:
- Bank transfer (requested via the App or at the cashier)
- Cash at the Club cashier during operating hours
Withdrawals are subject to identity verification, AML compliance checks, and processing times as detailed in our Deposit & Withdrawal Policy.
5.4 No Interest
Funds held in your digital wallet do not accrue interest. The Club does not use player funds for lending, investment, or any purpose other than holding them on your behalf.
5.5 Dormant Accounts
If your account remains inactive for a period of 12 consecutive months, we may contact you to confirm whether you wish to maintain your account. Unclaimed funds will be handled in accordance with applicable Irish law.
6. Club Rules & Code of Conduct
6.1 Opening Hours
The Club is open 7 days a week, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Management reserves the right to alter opening hours for special events, public holidays, or operational reasons.
6.2 Gaming Activities
The Club offers the following gaming activities:
- Live Poker — Tournaments seven nights a week, plus cash games
- Live Roulette
- Live Blackjack
- Punto Banco
- Mahjong
- Slot Machines — 10+ machines featuring APEX, Apollo Games, and AMATIC titles
All games are conducted by trained, licensed dealers using professional-grade equipment.
6.3 Tournament Rules
Poker tournaments are governed by specific rules that are:
- Displayed at the Club and available in the App prior to each event
- Based on internationally recognised tournament standards (TDA Rules)
- Subject to the floor manager’s final decision on disputes
By registering for a tournament, you agree to abide by the published rules for that event.
6.4 Code of Conduct
All members and guests must:
- Treat staff and fellow members with courtesy and respect
- Refrain from abusive, threatening, or discriminatory language or behaviour
- Not engage in collusion, chip dumping, or any form of cheating
- Not use electronic devices to gain an unfair advantage at the table
- Comply with all instructions from Club staff and management
- Not bring weapons, illegal substances, or prohibited items onto the premises
- Dress appropriately (smart casual minimum; management discretion applies)
- Not solicit other members for external gambling or lending
6.5 Alcohol & Intoxication
The Club reserves the right to refuse service or entry to any person who appears to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs. Responsible consumption is encouraged at all times.
7. Intellectual Property
All content within the App — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — is the property of Dublin Poker Club & Casino or its licensors and is protected by Irish and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any App content without our prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 General
To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law:
- The Club is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App or membership
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the balance held in your digital wallet at the time the claim arose
- We do not guarantee any particular outcome from gaming activities
8.2 Gaming Losses
Gambling involves risk. You acknowledge that losses incurred through gaming activities at the Club are your sole responsibility. The Club is not liable for any gambling losses.
8.3 Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government orders, power failures, or internet outages.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dublin Poker Club & Casino, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your breach of these Terms, your use of the App, or your conduct at the Club.
10. Termination
10.1 By You
You may terminate your membership at any time by:
- Submitting a closure request through the App
- Contacting us at info@dublinpokerclub.com
- Visiting the Club cashier in person
Upon termination, any remaining wallet balance will be returned to you in accordance with our Deposit & Withdrawal Policy.
10.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your membership immediately and without prior notice if:
- You breach any provision of these Terms
- You provide false or misleading information
- We are required to do so by law or regulation
- You engage in conduct that is harmful to the Club, its staff, or other members
- We reasonably suspect fraud, money laundering, or other criminal activity
10.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the App and access Club services ceases immediately. Provisions relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.
11. Dispute Resolution
11.1 Internal Resolution
We encourage you to raise any concerns or disputes with our floor manager or duty manager in the first instance. Most issues can be resolved promptly and informally.
11.2 Formal Complaints
If you are not satisfied with the informal resolution, you may submit a formal complaint in writing to:

We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and aim to provide a full response within 28 days.
11.3 External Resolution
If your complaint remains unresolved, you may refer the matter to the relevant regulatory authority or seek independent legal advice.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated through the App and/or by email. Your continued use of the App or Club services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be notified at least 14 days before taking effect.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
