Fund Protection Policy

Our Commitment

Dublin Poker Club & Casino takes the protection of member funds seriously. When you deposit money into your digital wallet, those funds remain yours. We hold them in trust for you and have implemented robust measures to ensure they are secure, segregated, and available for withdrawal at any time.

Segregated Accounts

All member funds are held in dedicated, segregated bank accounts that are separate from the Club’s operational accounts. This means:

  • Your funds are never mixed with the Club’s business funds
  • Operational expenses, staff salaries, rent, and other business costs are paid from separate accounts
  • The segregated accounts hold only member funds — the total balance reflects the aggregate amount owed to all members

We maintain a daily reconciliation process to ensure that the balance in our segregated accounts matches the total of all member digital wallet balances.

No Lending or Investment of Player Funds

Dublin Poker Club & Casino does not:

  • Lend member funds to any person, entity, or organisation
  • Invest member funds in any financial instrument, product, or venture
  • Use member funds to finance Club operations or expansion
  • Pledge or encumber member funds as security or collateral

Your funds sit in a regulated Irish bank account until you choose to spend or withdraw them.

Insolvency Protections

Because member funds are held in segregated accounts:

  • In the event of any financial difficulty affecting the Club’s operations, member funds remain protected and separate from the Club’s assets
  • Segregated funds are not available to the Club’s creditors in the event of insolvency
  • We work with legal and financial advisors to ensure our fund protection arrangements comply with best practices and applicable Irish law

Banking

Member funds are held with a regulated Irish bank that is authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland. Our banking partner is subject to its own regulatory obligations, including deposit protection schemes where applicable.

Audit & Oversight

  • We conduct monthly internal audits of member fund balances against our segregated account balances
  • An independent external audit is performed annually to verify the accuracy of fund segregation
  • Records of all deposits, withdrawals, and fund movements are maintained in accordance with Irish AML and tax legislation

Access to Your Funds

You may withdraw your funds at any time, subject to:

  • Standard identity verification and AML compliance checks
  • The processing times and methods outlined in our Deposit & Withdrawal Policy
  • Any applicable responsible gaming restrictions you have set (e.g., self-exclusion or cool-off periods — in which case, you may still request a withdrawal of your balance)

We will never unreasonably withhold or delay access to your funds.

Regulatory Compliance

Dublin Poker Club & Casino operates in compliance with all applicable Irish gaming, financial, and AML legislation. Our fund protection practices are designed to meet or exceed regulatory expectations for private members clubs in Ireland.
